WHAT DO WEBSITES COST TO RUN?

Starting from £400*
If you hire a web designer (like me!) this is the fee you pay to have your website built.

Websites can cost £1000s to design. However, as practitioners, we do not need highly complex websites!
​My prices are below and for 2026, I have my £400 special offer as part of the Confident Homeopath Website Challenge.*
HOSTING
Approx £10 per month
Your website needs to be hosted on the internet. This can range from £1 per month up to £100s.
I only use Wix and for very good reason. Their 'Core' package is around £10 per month and includes your SSL security, outstanding technical support, and much more. For transparency, I am NOT on commission!
DOMAIN NAME
Approx £10 per year
This is the fee you pay to own your domain name. Lots of companies offer free or reduced domains for the first year.

Before you buy your domain, consider getting an email package with a free domain. That's what I do.
Feel free to ask me about this before you buy your domain name.
Free to £6 per month
Many people use free email such as Gmail. However, if you would like a professional email address such as info@yourbusiness.com there are a few paid options.
Google Workspace is £6 per month and includes business email and unlimited Google Meet software for your consultations. You can also get email with your domain name but I prefer the more simple options.
BOOKING SOFTWARE
Free to £15 plus
I like Calendly, Google Workspace and Setmore because they are easy to use with the full host of features.
(I am not on commission!)
They range from a pretty decent free version, up to around £15 a month for an all singing and dancing version!

Wix also offers booking software but I prefer others for functionality.

A completely bespoke website designed specifically to your individual needs and style

As per my standard one page site above, this site can have a little bit of everything. As a bespoke site, you get to choose exactly what this includes, with your chosen look and feel.
Multi page Fully responsive, comprehensive four page website + SEO = from £800
You guessed it - a beautifully tailor made multi page site that gives you full flexibility over the content and design. If you are not sure what sort of site you require, get in touch and I will talk you through your options. You can see a selection of my bespoke sites below.
ALL SITES INCLUDE
Handed to you live, connected to your domain and social media, with SSL Security Certificate, tablet and smart phone responsive, highly discoverable on Google and other search engines, with excellent SEO. I include a privacy policy page and the required cookie settings at no extra cost.
